Open Source Engineer

Seal Security is hiring a hands-on, driven, and experienced Open Source Engineer who is resourceful and passionate about continuously improving themselves, their team, and the products they work on. As a key member of our R&D team, you'll be part of an ambitious and dynamic group, leveraging the latest advancements in DevOps and LLMs to push the boundaries of innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft security patches for open source libraries used by Seal's clients.
  • Design and implement tools to automate the patching process.
  • Contribute to technological and architectural decisions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in backend engineering with various programming languages (e.g., Python, Javascript, Java, C).
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience and certifications.
  • Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
  • Advantage: experience in security research (e.g., vulnerabilities, exploits)
